A pasta sauce with beef, tomatoes, olives and capers.

15.5oz can tomato paste
1/2cuphalved kalamata olives
1/4tspdried chili flakes
1-2 tspsea salt

feta or parmesan for garnishoptional
In a large dutch oven or heavy bottomed pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Brown the ground beef until it's almost all cooked through. Then add in the onion and continue to cook until the beef is done and the onion is translucent.
Add the garlic and the oregano to the beef mixture and cook until fragrant. This takes about one minute. Pour in the tomatoes with their juices, and the tomato paste. Mix until well combined.
Bring the sauce to a low simmer and add in the capers, olives, chilli flakes and salt. Simmer on low for 15 minutes.
While the sauce is simmering, cook your pasta according to the directions.
Once the sauce is done, test and adjust salt if needed.
Serve over the cooked pasta right away and sprinkle on some feta or parmesan!
