In a large bowl mix together the oats, sunflower seeds, cranberries, chocolate chips, and salt.
In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, sunflower seed butter and vanilla together.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well. You want to make sure there are no dry spots.
Line a 6x10 baking pan with parchment paper. Or use an 8x8 pan. Press the granola bar mixture into the pan.
Chill the granola bars for at least an hour in the fridge. Remove them from the pan and cut into bars using a very sharp knife.
Notes
When pressing the granola bar mixture into the pan, use a piece of parchment paper between the granola bar mixture and the utensil. This will prevent sticking! You can even use the bottom of a drinking glass to press the mixture down.
