1.5cupsall purpose flour or gluten free all purpose flour
1tspvanilla
1/2tspbaking soda
1/4tspsalt
1/4cupsprinkles
Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix together the butter and sugar until well combined. Add in the egg and vanilla and mix well.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well. Now fold in the sprinkles.
Chill the cookie dough for 20-30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 375° and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Scoop the cookie dough into balls of about 1.5 tbsp worht of dough. Place the dough balls 2" apart on a baking sheet. With your hand, flatten the balls slightly.
Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for two minutes and then remove from the pan and transfer to a wire rack to continue cooling.
Notes
These cookies freeze well.
If making gluten-free, make sure the sprinkles are also gluten-free.
